JRS Romania
Humanitarian aid for refugees in Vinnytsia, Ukraine
JRS Romania supports the local efforts of the non-governmental organisation "Ukrainian profile" (Український профіль).
The organisation provides basic products to war-affected civilians, needy families and those who have fled from regions such as Donetsk and taken refuge in Vinnytsia.
Since the beginning of the war, the NGO has been supporting refugees from Ukraine through volunteers. The NGO is run by Rostyslav Kaplun and Alla Kaplun. Alla has worked with JRS Romania as a volunteer for several months, joining our efforts in Romania. In Ukraine, she and her husband have been providing local support to communities.
Your support will enable us to provide aid to as many families as possible.
Here is the list of goods we want to distribute to at least 500 affected families (1.500 people): tinned/canned food – meat, tinned/canned food – fish, macaroni, beans, tomato sauce, rise, coffee, tea, salt, sugar, soap, shampoo, detergents, headband, scarf adults, warm clothes, sleeping bags, electric power generator 1000W.
JRS Romania will provide emergency humanitarian transport with goods for 100 families (300 people) worth 9,800 euros, with money from previous donations collected.
To reach 500 families more, we will need an additional 49,000 euros (an aid of about 100 euros per family).
